Dr. Randy L. Frye is the founding dean of the School of Business, director of the Graduate School of Business and Human Resource Management, and professor of business administration at Saint Francis University.

Frye earned a B.A in social sciences from Pitt-Johnstown. He also holds an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in human resource management and industrial relations from Saint Francis College and an Ed.D. in management and policy studies from the University of Pittsburgh. He also has attained the CMA designation from the Institute of Management Accountants.

Frye is the recipient of the 1998 Gerard and Helen Swatsworth Excellence in Teaching Award and is a co-recipient of the 2002 Student Government Association Educator of the Year Award at Saint Francis University. In 2003, he was selected by the Saint Francis University National Alumni Association as its Distinguished Faculty Member.

ANGELA SEIDEL

ANGELA SEIDEL

He oversees six undergraduate business programs, two graduate programs and the Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center. He is the founder of the MBA Program at Saint Francis University and was involved in starting numerous other academic programs at the University.

Seidel is an assistant professor of business administration at Saint Francis University. She joined Saint Francis in 2013 with over 17 years of experience in higher education and administration.

In addition to face-to-face classroom methods, Seidel has experience in both blended learning and online instruction. She was an independent consultant for over 20 years, providing accounting and computerized accounting services to local clients. She has also worked as a textbook author/reviewer for Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Cengage Learning and Prentice Hall publishing companies.

In addition to university committee and student service, Seidel is an active member of her community. She is a 2010 graduate of the John B. Gunter Leadership Initiative of Cambria County, an active member of the Red Cross board of directors and a Junior Achievement executive committee member and classroom volunteer.

Seidel earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Geneva College, a master’s in business administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in business administration from Northcentral University. She is also a Certified Management Accountant.

Angela resides in Johnstown, with her husband and two children.

Tricia Giannone McFadden joins the School of Business faculty as a visiting instructor of marketing. McFadden recently resided in Pittsburgh while working on her Ph.D. at Duquesne University where she focused on integrated marketing and communication ethics. She also held a position as a graduate teaching assistant, Ph.D. program assistant and assistant internship director. McFadden was an instructor at Duquesne University’s Italian campus in Rome from 2006-2009, where she taught intercultural communication and directed the service-learning program. She is a current member of the American Marketing Association, National Communication Association and Religious Communication Association.

McFadden worked as a marketing professional for over ten years in South Florida prior to obtaining her master’s degree and was a language arts teacher at Nativity Catholic School, Hollywood, Fla. After teaching abroad, she held an instructor position at Duquesne University teaching integrated marketing, business and professional writing and event planning and adjunct positions at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Saint Francis University’s School of Business and Adult Degree and Continuing Studies.

McFadden earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, in communications and her master’s from Barry University, Miami, Fla. with a focus on marketing and communications.

McFadden is originally from Ebensburg. Tricia and her husband have three children. Nicole Bauman, Associate Director of the Graduate School of Business & HRM, has been with Saint Francis University for ten years. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with an A.A.S. in liberal arts and Saint Francis University with a B.S. in accounting, Bauman began her Saint Francis career working in the capacity of administrative assistant and event Ccoordinator for the School of Business in 2005.

Bauman was promoted to coordinator of the Graduate School of Business & HRM in 2011, and was then promoted to associate director in 2013. She has coordinated events such as the Dr. Albert A. Zanzuccki Lecture Series, Executive-In- Residence Series, and the annual study abroad trip to London. Additionally, Bauman is actively involved in committee work on campus. She serves on the University’s Social Committee, the Commencement Planning Committee, and coordinates the annual Children’s Christmas Party. She was a finalist for the Soriano Outstanding Service Award; was named a Sam Walton Fellow, for the award winning SFU ENACTUS Team, in June 2010; and is a graduate of Leadership Blair County, Class of 2013.

In 2013, Bauman was recognized by the Altoona Mirror in their annual periodical “20 Under 40”, a showcase of Blair County’s top working professionals under the age of 40. Bauman is the lead recruiter and advisor for the MBA & MHRM programs.

She is an avid runner and delights in exercise and working out. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband of eleven years, John their sons Johnny and Nicolas. Nicole and her family are residents of Hollidaysburg.
