Kate Rimbeck is the Executive Director of Blair County Historical Society, after previously serving as operations manager. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently in graduate school, working towards her MBA. She was raised in the military life and spent her teenage years near Fort Bragg, NC, graduating high school in Fayetteville, NC in the 90’s. She is married to Chris Rimbeck, an Air Force veteran. Kate is also an advocate for equality and diversity and a member of Business and Professional Women (BPW).

Blair County Historical Society collects, preserves, interprets and publishes the history of Blair County. They operate Baker Mansion History Museum, which serves to display, maintain, and store artifacts, documents, a library, and exhibits. Located in Altoona, PA, Baker Mansion is a nationally registered historic home built in 1849 in Greek Temple style and is open for tours May through December.
