Created in 2001, the Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau’s focus is on tourism development and promotion of the area’s heritage and natural resources, while continuously improving the quality of experience for visitors. They work continually to engage and educate the community about their assets so they can share those positive experiences with their family and friends who ultimately are the main proportion of travelers to the Juniata River Valley.

Comprised of Mifflin and Juniata Counties, the Juniata River Valley offer thousands of acres of forest lands where you can listen to the rush of a clear mountain stream, enjoy a picnic around the towering trees of Reeds Gap State Park or get back to nature hiking or biking on one of Vice many trails or country roads. The small communities of the area are welcoming and home to as quaint shops and fabulous restaurants. The local events calendar is filled with community fairs Analytics and festivals, seasonal celebrations, and the uniquely central Pennsylvania holiday – Goose Day. to
