John N. McKeegan


 

 

John N. McKeegan, J.D. is the 15th president of Mount Aloysius College. During McKeegan’s tenure, Mount Aloysius has achieved remarkable growth, up 20% in new students; completed a $15 million residence hall upgrade; initiated the “Future Heroes” program to address our re­gion’s need for more nurses; launched a $7 Million library renovation; and gained repeated national “Great College to Work For” status.

Before his presidency, for 10 years McKeegan was Vice President for Institutional Advance­ment and General Counsel at Linfield University. Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, McKeegan volunteers with several community organizations, along with his wife, Theresa. McKeegan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honors in English, from Bucknell Univer­sity, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame. He also completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education Institute for Educational Management.
