An attorney with the McNees Labor and Employment Group, Denise Elliott focuses her practice on defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation, ADA/FMLA compliance, health and safety issues.
She graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice and earned her J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law.
“Day to day, I love learning about my clients’ businesses. Representing employers of all types, I’ve had the opportunity to learn about banking, metal manufacturing, greenhouse operations, snack food production, healthcare, marketing and so much more,” Elliott explained.
Elliott is heavily involved in the community. She focuses on groups involved with children and families. Currently, she serves on the board of directors for Girls on the Run Lancaster and is the president of the school board for St. Anne School in Lancaster.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughters. She also enjoys cheering on Philadelphia’s pro sports teams.
