LITITZ, PA – Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc., parent company of Susquehanna Bank, is the 15th fastest growing company in Central Pennsylvania and the highest-ranked financial-services firm, according to a report prepared by Central Penn Business Journal a Harrisburg-based business publication.
The ranking reflects Susquehanna’s ability to offer its customers a wide variety of products and services, combined with the lending capacity and broad resources of a regional bank. But in addition to its growth and success in the Mid-Atlantic region, Susquehanna and its 3,400 employees continue to provide the hallmarks of a hometown bank: personalized service, local decision making and a commitment to enhancing the communities they serve.
“We are honored and grateful to be included among so many businesses worthy of recognition,” Susquehanna Bancshares Chairman and CEO William J. Reuter said. “Our employees work hard every day to build enduring relationships with customers and deliver personal and professional service that helps individuals and businesses realize their financial goals.”
Susquehanna’s growth is enhanced by its ability to offer its customers quality and innovative products, like Stellar Checking with Smart Rewards, which allows customers to earn cash back for their everyday banking activities, such as swiping their debit cards and paying bills online; as well as Mobile Deposit, Mobile Banking and Online Banking with Bill Pay.
The companies that made the list are ranked based on a three-year period of revenue growth starting in 2010. Dollar and percentage increases were both taken into consideration, leading to a list consisting of large and small companies alike.
