Appalachia Chapter: Windfarm Tour and Glades Pike Winery Visit Glades Pike Winery – Somerset, Pa.

Please join fellow WEN members to learn about windmills, the power they generate and how it all works! The group will tour a wind turbine and substation facility. Following the windfarm tour, the group will visit Glades Pike Winery in Somerset, PA for lunch and wine tasting. This is a one-of-a-kind MEMBERS ONLY event that is sure to fill up fast! The group will meet in Monroeville, PA at 7:45 a.m., travel by bus to the wind farm and winery, and return around 4:00 a.m. A light breakfast and lunch at the winery is included in the event cost.

Online registration is mandatory for this event. Attendees will have an opportunity to sign up and meet one-on-one with 20 members in different professions for 10 minutes. Signup sheets will be on a table in the center of the dining room and have the participants name, category, profession and/or company name. The purpose of the fair is to educate event attendees about professions in various categories and answer their questions—not sell a product. If you aren’t signed up to meet one-on-one, you will be able to network throughout the room.
