PSECU

Harrisburg
Est. 1934

PSECU’s story began in 1934 when 22 state employees pooled $90 to start a credit union to ensure a better life for themselves and their families. Since then, PSECU has grown to more than 400,000 members, has more than $4 billion in assets and still stays true to their founders’ goal of helping members achieve a better life.

PSECU is headquartered in Harrisburg but uses the Centre County Region and State College, in particular, as the location for not only their call and data recovery center but also their financial center. In addition to PSECU’s physical locations, they have a strong belief in supporting the community and because of that belief has sponsored the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, Downtown State College Fall Festival, Centre County Heart Walk and Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The credit union prides itself on providing access to its members no matter where they are located and always strive to establish the best services with the latest technology. They have developed the PRIDE principles: partnership, reliability, improvement, dedication and ethics.
