Joanne Ludwikowski

McCormick Law Firm

Joanne Ludwikowski moved to Williamsport and joined McCormick Law Firm in 1990.

“I went through college, law school and the beginning of my career believing that I could do everything and that I was invincible. I learned in my early 30’s that I was mistaken in my belief,” she said. “I had to prioritize my time starting with taking care of me and my family, fully engaging in my work, and giving back to the community that has been so good to me and my family.”

As part of giving back to the community, Ludwikowski joined social causes such as the United Way professional division. She became a partner at McCormick in 1996 and continued her involvement in the United Way, working up to board president in 2008. She is a member of the Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee, the Pa. Bar Association Worker’s Compensation Council and the Institutional Review Board for UPMC Susquehanna Health.

In addition to the United Way, Ludwikowski has been involved with the CDW Leadership Lycoming and was chair of the committee to elect Marc Lovecchio, Judge CCP. Her most recent involvement and challenge was chair of the Williamsport Area School District Capital Campaign drive, raising in excess of $2 million for the athletic stadium.

Joanne and her husband have three children, Emily, Davidson and Erica. She likes to read a good book and scrapbook photos.
