Opportunity to earn contract with SE DA-COG Natural Gas Cooperative

Lewisburg, PA – The SEDA-COG Natural Gas Cooperative Inc. has an exciting opportunity for companies in Pennsylvania and beyond to assist in preparing the cooperative’s business plan and market analysis.

The cooperative has issued a Request for Qualifications for this work online. The deadline to submit qualifications is Feb. 1, 2017.

The cooperative aims to select a team of consultants with specific areas of expertise to support various aspects of cooperative operations. The result of the team’s work will be an overall, integrated five- to 10-year plan that also will serve as a template for developing future contract work tasks.

Firms that are pre-qualified under the RFQ may be awarded succeeding work orders related to development of project infrastructure.

The cooperative’s goal is to facilitate provision of new or upgraded natural gas service by working with partners to identify potential projects and leverage funding sources and approaches to fill the gaps in implementing natural gas infrastructure projects.

The advantage of working with the cooperative is its regional approach, providing a strong, coordinated effort to accomplish its goals. It currently serves Centre, Clinton and Mifflin counties in central Pennsylvania.
