Susquehanna Health

Est. 1994 / Williamsport

In 1994 an alliance was formed between three central Pennsylvania hospitals, creating now what is known as Susquehanna Health. The alliance, lead by President & CEO Steven P. Johnson, includes Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Divine Providence Hospital, Muncy Valley Hospital and most recently Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro.

Today, this fully integrated healthcare system provides high quality, compassionate, accessible and cost-effective healthcare to thousands in the region.

In 2015, Susquehanna Health was named one of the top 20 Most Wired Health Systems in the nation, an Employer of Choice, a Joint Commission and American Heart Association Primary Stroke Center and received the award for the Most Innovation in Healthcare Associated Infections from Quality Insights of Pennsylvania for reducing surgical site infection rates in total knee replacement procedures.
