The Pennsylvania Energy Infrastructure Alliance (PEIA) seeks to ensure that Pennsylvanians are educated on the potential benefits of projects proposed in Pennsylvania.

Members of the Alliance include: Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership, Manufacturers’ Association of South Central Pennsylvania, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542, Maritime Exchange for the Delaware River and Bay, Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, LiUNA, Operating Engineers Local 66, Pennsylvania Grange, JARI, Mon Valley Progress Council, Clearly Ahead Development, Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC and the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association.

The Alliance supports investments to modernize energy infrastructure to ensure reliable access to low-cost energy to power Pennsylvania’s local economy and ensure the utmost safety and health of its communities.

As the safest mode to transport energy, PEIA believe that investing in new and existing pipelines will benefit communities through new job opportunities, new industries and new access to affordable energy over the long-term.

Representing a broad range of interests and industries, PEIA is united in support of energy infrastructure investments in the Commonwealth because they are the best interest of Pennsylvanians, local communities, and the nation. When responsibly built, safely and efficiently operated, and carefully maintained to ensure long-term integrity, pipelines are an important piece of the state’s and region’s economic future.
